New Zealand, Aotearoa “the land of the long white cloud” comprises of two islands stretching over 1600km and separated by the Cook Strait. Both Islands are marked by volcanoes and glaciations and provide some of the most stunning scenery found anywhere on earth.
This detailed fern pattern wall art depicts New Zealand. It is hand-made from reclaimed oak floor boards that spent most of their life as a Canterbury church floor. After the 2011 earthquake the church was deconstructed and here at the Bearwood Workshop in Wanaka we have repurposed this unique piece of New Zealand history giving it another lease of life.
